Khalfan Ibrahim Khalfan Al Khalfan ( Arabic خلفان إبراهيم خلفان آل خلفان, DMG Ḫalfān Ibrahīm Ḫalfān Āl Ḫalfān ; * February 18, 1988 in Doha ) is a Qatari soccer player . He plays in the position of the striker .

Player career

He started his professional career in 2003 in his hometown with Al-Sadd , with whom he won the championship of the Qatar Stars League in 2004, 2006 and 2007 . As a result, Khalfan Ibrahim took part in the AFC Champions League several times , but Al-Sadd failed early every time. In 2006, he was from the Asian Football Confederation to Asian Footballer of the Year chosen. He is the first player from Qatar to receive this award.

For the Qatari national soccer team he has been in 62 international matches and scored 17 goals.
