The Khangri Shar (also Pumori West ) is a 6792 m (or 6811 m ) high peak in the Himalayas on the border between Nepal and the autonomous region of Tibet .
The Khangri Shar is located on the ridge between Chumbu in the west and Pumori in the east. It forms a western sub-peak of the Pumori, 1.62 km east-southeast. On the north flank, the western Rongpu glacier flows in an easterly direction, while the nutrient area of the Khangri-Shar glacier lies on the south flank .

There have been two unsuccessful attempts to climb Khangri Shar so far.
