Khao Bin Cave
The Khao-Bin Cave ( Thai : ถ้ำ เขา บิน ) is a cave in the Ratchaburi Province in the southwestern part of the central region of Thailand .

The cave is located in the middle of the "Khao Bin Forest Park", about 20 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital Ratchaburi in Tambon Hin Kong, district ( Amphoe ) Mueang Ratchaburi . It can be reached via National Road 3087, which branches off the Thanon Phetkasem (Phetkasem Expressway) west of Ratchaburi .
Surname
The name Khao Bin means "flying swallow" and goes back to a rock formation that resembles a flying swallow .
The five rai (about 8,000 m²) large cave is about 300 meters deep. In the middle of the cave there is a pond that is worshiped by the locals. It is the first cave in Thailand to be equipped with an electric light system. The cave is home to numerous stalactites , many of which have been destroyed by unsuspecting tourists. Due to the characteristics of the stalagmites and stalactites, the cave is divided into eight “rooms”.
