Khaokor Galaxy

Khaokor Galaxy ( Thai เขา ค้อ แก แล็ ค ซี่ , RTGS Khao-ko Gae-LAEK-si ; * 15. May 1959 in the district of Mueang Phetchabun of Phetchabun province , central Thailand ) is a former Thai boxer in the bantamweight .

Professional career

Khaokor started his professional career successfully in 1985. On May 9, 1988 he boxed against Wilfredo Vázquez for the world title of the WBA and won by split judge decision. However, he lost this title when he defended his title for the first time in August of the same year to Sung-Kil Moon through a "technical point decision" in round 6.

On August 14 of the following year he was able to win this belt again when he defeated Sung-Kil Moon in a rematch by unanimous decision. Again, Galaxy lost the belt in the following fight in October of the same year against Luisito Espinosa by knockout in round 1.

Khaosai Galaxy, who is also successful as a boxer, is his twin brother.
