Killington is a village and civil parish in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria in north-west England . In 2010, Killington had 152 residents. Killington Lake is named after Killington , although it is located in neighboring Parish New Hutton and the motorway service station named after it on the M6 .

Killington Hall in the center of town was built largely around 1640, rebuilt in 1803 and includes the ruins of a peel tower adjoining the main building. The structure is adjacent to All Saints' Church, which dates from the 14th century but was modified in the 17th century and was originally the chapel of Killington Hall.
