Kim Hwang-sik (born August 9, 1948 in Jangseong , Jeollanam-do , South Korea ) is a South Korean judge and politician and member of the Saenuri Party .

In 1978/79 he was enrolled in law at the Philipps University of Marburg , but graduated from Seoul National University . From 2005 to 2008 he served as a judge at the Seoul Supreme Court. From 2008 to 2010 he was Chairman of the Court of Auditors . On October 1, 2010, he became Prime Minister of South Korea . On February 26, 2013, he was replaced by Jung Hong-won .
