Kim Jin-hyeon ( kor. 김진현 ; born July 6, 1987 in Suwon ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

society

Kim Jin-hyeon learned to play football on the university team at Dongguk University in South Korea . In 2009 he went to Japan and signed his first professional contract with Cerezo Osaka . The club from Osaka , a city in Osaka prefecture, played in the second highest Japanese league, the J2 League . In 2009 he was runner-up with Osaka and rose to the first division. In the first division, the J1 League , played with the club for five years. At the end of 2014 he had to return to the second division with the club. After two years, the club rose again in fourth place in the first division. In 2017 he was with Osaka in the final of the J. League Cup and the Emperor's Cup . In the J. League Cup they defeated Kawasaki Frontale 2-0 in the final, in the Emperor's Cup final they won 2-1 against Yokohama F. Marinos . He won the Japanese Supercup in 2018. Here they defeated Kawasaki Frontale 3-2.

National team

Kim Jin-hyeon played in the junior national teams U18 , U19 and U20 from 2005 to 2007 . In 2007 he played with the U20s at the U-20 World Cup . Here he reached the round of 16 with Japan, but they lost 4: 3 against the Czech Republic . From 2012 to 2018 he played in the South Korean national team . He made his national team debut on May 30, 2012 in a friendly against Spain at the Stade de Suisse in Bern .
