Kim Sands (born October 11, 1956 ) is a former American tennis player .

Sands won a WTA title in doubles during her career and achieved her best world ranking in singles in 1984 with 44th place. In doubles, she was able to advance to 37th place three years later.

She was the first African American woman to receive a scholarship from the University of Miami .
