Child and Youth Services
Child and youth welfare encompasses services and tasks that are combined in SGB VIII by public and independent organizations for the benefit of young people and their families . Child and youth welfare includes child protection and the law on cooperation and information in child protection (KKG). In the background is Article 6 of the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany with parental rights and the state guardianship. The provisions of family law in the German Civil Code (BGB) also have an accompanying effect . In addition, the legal protection of young people , the protection of young people at work and the youth court law are organized; Internationally, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child comes first. In the German federal states, there are state laws for the implementation of day-care centers.
