Kingsley Boateng (born April 7, 1994 in Mpatuam , Ghana ) is an Italian - Ghanaian soccer player . He plays in the position of the striker and is currently under contract with NK Olimpija Ljubljana .

biography

Boateng came to Italy with his family when he was six years old. After his father received Italian citizenship in 2012, all of his underage children, including Kingsley at the time, also received it.

Career

Boateng joined the AC Milan football school in 2007 , which he attended until the end of his youth. Since the 2013/14 season he was part of the professional squad. For his first professional season, however, he was loaned out to Catania Calcio to gain match practice. He played his first Serie A game on September 25, 2013, when he lost 3-1 to Lazio . At the beginning of the Serie A 2014/15 season he returned to AC Milan, but shortly after moved to NAC Breda in the Eredivisie . In the winter of 2015, he moved back to AC Milan, as they drew a buyback option anchored in the contract. From 2015 to 2017 Boateng played for FC Bari 1908 in series B . In January 2017 he moved to NK Olimpija Ljubljana .

From 2011 to 2012 Boateng ran in three games for Italy's U-18s, scoring one goal.
