Kinsey Ridge is a partially icy mountain ridge with a flattened summit crown in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . It rises near the Ruppert coast in the middle of the Strauss glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and using aerial photographs of the United States Navy in the years from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 by James H. Kinsey, auroral scientists of the United States Antarctic Research Program on the Byrd Station in 1963.
