The kiosk (also: boxwood kiosk ) is a building in Darmstadt .
History and description
The kiosk was built in 1925 according to plans by the architect August Buxbaum . The kiosk is a small polygonal artificial stone building .
Typical details are:
- slightly conical base
- Bent, protruding tent roof
- Sheet copper roof (since 1928)
Monument protection
The kiosk on Kantplatz is the only one that has survived from a total of seven identical sales kiosks built in 1925 at prominent locations in the city. For architectural and city-historical reasons, the kiosk is a cultural monument .
