Kip Gordon Sundgaard (born February 15, 1956 in Saint Paul , Minnesota ) is a retired American ski jumper .

Sundgaard attended the University of Utah and was able to win the ski jumping championships of the NCAA there in 1976 . In the same year he was runner-up at the Canadian championships.

Sundgaard was a member of the US national ski jumping team for eight years. He took part in several world championships and the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck . In the competition on the normal hill he finished 53rd after two jumps. He jumped his longest jump in 1979 in Planica with 141 meters from the Letalnica bratov Gorišek ski jump .

In 2008 Sundgaard was inducted into the American Ski Jumping Hall of Fame .
