The Kipling Mesa is a 400 to 500 m high, roughly rectangular and up to 2.5 km long table mountain on the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It rises south of Rink Point and about 4 km north-northwest of Virgin Hill . With the latter, he is on the Akela Col connected.
It is named after the British writer Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936), author of The Jungle Book and winner of the 1907 Nobel Prize for Literature .
