Barkow Church

The Barkow Church is a church building in the Barkow district of the Pripsleben community in the Mecklenburg Lake District . It belongs to the parish Altentreptow in the Demmin provost of the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District .

The church is a field stone building on a rectangular floor plan. In the second half of the 19th century, a south tower in neo-Gothic form was added to it. The details of the architecture are made of brick . There is a crypt in front of the west gable.

The pulpit dates from the first half of the 17th century, the church stalls and the gallery from the 18th century. The single manual organ with five registers was built by Barnim Grüneberg in 1881 .

The bell was cast in 1876 by Carl Voss and Son in Stettin .
