history

While the first eleven were accepted as revelations by the Church, the twelfth received on July 18, 1929, and all subsequent ones, were no longer accepted. Fetting and his followers were excluded from the Church of Christ (Temple Lot) and founded the Church of Christ (Fettingites) in the same year. Around 1,400 members of the Church of Christ (Temple Lot) joined it - almost a third of the total membership. Teaching and organization

Apart from the belief in the 30 revelations that Otto Fetting received and the sanctification of Saturday as the Sabbath, the teaching of the Church of Christ (Fettingiten) is almost identical to the teaching of the Church of Christ (Temple Lot). Polygamy , the baptism of the dead as well as the "sealing of marriages" and the belief in the development of man to a god are rejected. The Church of Christ (Fettingiten) is led by a council of the Twelve Apostles ( Quorum of the Twelve Apostles ), as the office of president is also rejected. The Church teaches that a temple will be built on the site known as Temple Lot , but that it will be different from the temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and those of the Communion of Christ .

Fonts

The Church of Christ (Fettingite) rejects the Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price , as well as the Inspired Bible written by Joseph Smith . The 30 of its founder received revelations in the book The word of the Lord ( The Word of the Lord together). The church newspaper The Voice of Warning has been published monthly since 1930.
