history

The inhabitants of Pribeljci asked the blessing of the then Eparchen of the Eparchy Hrizostom (Jević) to build the small church.

The church should be dedicated to St. Vasilije Ostroški the miracle worker, as the inhabitants of the village have been making pilgrimages to the Serbian Orthodox Ostrog Monastery in Opština Danilovgrad in Montenegro , where the relics of St. Vasilije Ostroški rest for decades .

The Eparch approved the building of the church. On May 12, 2007, the feast of St. Vasilije Ostroški, the foundations of the church were blessed in the name of Eparchen by the archpriest Rade Savić. Nedeljko Malinović from Belgrade , who comes from the village, was the godfather of the church foundations .

On May 12, 2011 the church was inaugurated by Eparchen Hrizostom, hundreds of believers attended the inauguration. The church was sponsored by the couple Milan and Cvijana Plavšić from Šipovo.

The church is a small building with a single nave. The facade of the church is kept simple in white. The church has an iconostasis with icons , which is typical for Orthodox churches .
