Ambo

The church at Wredenhagen Castle goes back to a historic building that was renovated in the second half of the 18th century and rededicated in 1802. A historical church facing east already existed around 1300 and was then part of the outer bailey to the north-west of the castle. By 1600, the church had a nave in its current size, but in the West or in a half-timbered technology built tower with a pointed spire . During the renovation in 1802, the church received a stone tower that was adapted to the plastered structure of the nave, the upper area of which was essentially given its current shape in 1891 after Brand.

Furnishing

The historical interior furnishings that have been preserved include the pulpit altar as well as the gallery and the stalls with their inscription, which allocated the seats to the residents of the ducal manor village of Wredenhagen, which are divided into categories. A separate box was provided for the administrator of the ducal forestry office. In the church there are also several plaques of honor for participants and fallen soldiers of various wars.

The historical furnishings of the church also include various chalices from the 15th to 17th centuries, as well as the pewter baptismal font and candlesticks from the 17th century.

organ

The organ from 1860 on a three-sided gallery was designed by Friedrich Hermann Lütkemüller . The organ prospect is divided into five prospect fields in the typical Lütkemüller design. The central tower is gable. The entire organ case is glazed in medium brown and decorated with palmettes. The slider chest instrument has 10 stops on a manual and pedal. The actions are mechanical.
