Kirchharpen

Kirchharpen is a part of the Harpen district in the Bochum-Nord district of Bochum . It is north of Kornharpen .

history

The area of ​​today's Kirchharpen was already in the 5th millennium BC. Settled. In 1966 a Neolithic earthwork from the Rössen culture was discovered.

The parish Harpen was the seat of the parish Harpen, to which Kornharpen and Gerthe belonged, in the Oberamt of the Bochum office .

The farms included Schulte, Overhoff, Nierhoff, Lütkendorf and Detmar.
