Kiril Petkow is a former Bulgarian ski jumper .

Career

Petkow made his international debut at the Ski Jumping World Cup on December 30, 1984 as part of the Four Hills Tournament 1984/85 in Oberstdorf . However, after he ended up only beaten beyond the top 70 in the first three competitions of the tour, he skipped the competition in Bischofshofen and finished the tour in 90th place overall.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1987 in Oberstdorf, Petkow started in both individual competitions. In the individual on the normal hill, he finished 28th after jumps of 83.5 and 85 meters. From the large hill, after jumps on 89 and 101.5 meters, he finished 56th on points with the Japanese Yasuhide Miyazaki .

At the Four Hills Tournament 1987/88 Petkow started again in all four competitions, but could not jump into the top 100 in any of the competitions and was only 98th overall.
