Kiril Wariski

Kiril Wariski ( Bulgarian Кирил Варийски ; born October 28, 1954 in Plovdiv , Bulgaria , † June 21, 1996 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian actor .

Life

Kiril Wariski finished his acting studies at the National Academy for Theater and Film Arts "Krastjo Sarafow" in 1980 . He then worked at theaters in Pazardzhik and Smolyan and spent four years at the Aleko Konstantinov Satirical Theater in Sofia . This in turn was followed by a long-term engagement at the national theater "Iwan Wasow" . He achieved great fame through the portrayal of the paralyzed actor in Sako Cheskija's 1981 fantasy film My Friend, the Pirate .

On 21 June 1996 Wariski died at the age of 41 years from the effects of a stroke . He was married to the actress Elsa Lalewa until his death. Their daughter Laura now works as an architect.
