The Kirkcudbright Bay is a bay in Dumfries and Galloway in southwest Scotland . It extends in a north-south direction over a length of about 10 kilometers, the width is up to three kilometers.

There are extensive tidal flats, especially in the northern, landward part . Here the peninsula of St Mary's Isle protrudes into Kirkcudbright Bay and separates Manxman's Lake in the east from the main arm with the mouth of the Dee and the village of Kirkcudbright in the west. In the south, the Meikle Ross peninsula and the offshore island of Little Ross mark the transition to the Solway Firth .
