The Kirlgraben is a 1.4 km long right tributary of the Kainach in Styria .

The Kirlgraben is being built in the southwestern part of the municipality of Kainach near Voitsberg , in the southern part of the cadastral municipality of Kainach , southwest of the main town of Kainach near Voitsberg, southeast of the Krenn farm and west of the Spitzthoma farm. It flows in less pronounced loops to the southeast and flows in the upper half of its course along the border between the cadastral communities of Kainach and Kohlschwarz . In the northwest of the Kohlschwarz cadastral community, it flows south of the main town of Kainach near Voitsberg, southeast of the Spitzthoma farm and south of the Lind inn about 150 meters west of the L341 into the Kainach, which then continues straight ahead. On its course, the Kirlgraben takes on an unnamed watercourse from the right.
