The Kirovets K-710 ( Russian Кировец К-710 ) is a heavy Soviet tractor . The prototype with articulated steering and all-wheel drive was built in the style of the Kirowez K-701 by the Kirowwerk in small numbers.

Vehicle history

On the occasion of the 200,000. Tractor in the company's history, which left the Kirowwerk in 1980, the prototype of a more powerful and visually redesigned tractor was presented. The Kirowez K-710, also called "Ilyich", corresponded in design to the models K-701M and Kirowez K-702, which were later built in series . The tractors were painted red with a white cab and had a more powerful version of the JaMZ-240 twelve-cylinder diesel engine installed, similar to the one used in the K-701. "K-710" was written in large letters on the radiator grille and "500 HP" on the side of the bonnet. The exhaust system was designed differently, no longer a tailpipe ran through the middle of the hood, but two pieces on the sides.

It is not clear exactly how many vehicles were built. The existence of at least three vehicles is proven, as they are shown in a row on a contemporary photo. Other sources speak of a maximum of 50 copies. Mass production never took place. The whereabouts of the vehicles is unclear.
