The Kirovets K-702 ( Russian Кировец К-702 ) is a heavy Soviet or later Russian tractor . The vehicle with articulated steering and all-wheel drive is produced by the Kirowwerk in Saint Petersburg and serves as the basis for various construction machines. It takes over elements of the now discontinued model Kirowez K-701M , but a less powerful motor is installed.

After the technically and optically revised Kirowez K-701M had already reached series production in 1985, the Kirowez K-702 followed four years later, in 1989. The vehicle, intended as the basis for a wide variety of heavy construction machinery, uses the revised body of the K-701M and a similar eight-cylinder diesel engine as the Kirowez K-700A . The JaMZ-238 engine from the production of the Jaroslawski Motorny Sawod will still be installed in various vehicle versions as of 2019.

Various completely different machines are built on the basis of the K-702. Including ordinary wheel loaders , wheel loaders with an additional dozer blade and wheel dozer. Some of these devices are equipped with attachments on the front and rear, which require a rotating driver's seat, two steering wheels, two pairs of exterior mirrors and a double lighting system.

With the Kirowez K-708, a similar but more modern successor device has been available since 2014 , which as of March 2016 has not yet been officially marketed. As of 2019, the vehicle was in production and marketing.
