The Kirovets K-744R ( Russian Кировец К-744Р ) is a heavy Russian all-wheel drive tractor with articulated steering , developed for the Russian market. From the year 2000 it replaced the older tractors of the K-700 series. In the Kirov Plant since then more than 6000 units of the K-744R were built by 2012.
description
The K-744R was developed from 1995, the series production began in 2000. It represents the fifth generation of the K-700 tractor series. The K-744R is offered in four performance levels and the versions Standard and Premium , which are mainly in the motorization differ from each other. All vehicles have all-wheel drive with disengageable rear-wheel drive. Compared to older tractors of the K-700 series, the cab has been extensively redesigned, it is more ergonomic and provides better protection in the event of vehicle rollover. From the production year 2016, the tractor will undergo a facelift and the cab will be redesigned as a result. Among other things, it has vibration and noise insulation and air conditioning. The transmission is a hydraulically controlled four-stage powershift transmission with 16 forward gears and 8 reverse gears. The rear PTO shaft turns at 1000 min -1 . The drive axles are equipped with a limited slip differential, the front axle is sprung with semi-elliptic springs and hydraulic shock absorbers, while the rear axle is a rigid axle connected to the frame.
