Kiryl Keduk

Kiryl Keduk (born October 9, 1987 in Hrodna ) is a Belarusian pianist .

Life

From 2001 Keduk studied with Waldemar Wojtal at the Music Academy in Danzig . Since 2007 he has been with Boris Petrushansky at the piano academy "Incontri con Maestro" in Imola ( Italy ).

In 2004 he won 3rd place in the “Arthur Rubinstein Competition” in Bydgoszcz (Bromberg, Poland ), and later first prizes at the piano competitions in Minsk , Bucharest , Antonin , Danzig , Varna and Marsala (2006). Keduk played as a soloist with orchestras in Palermo , Milan , Florence , Nice , Israel and the USA .

In autumn 2009, Keduk won both the first prize and the audience prize at the Kissinger Piano Olympics - as the only participant in this competition, which has existed since 2003, he has won both prizes. At the closing gala of the Kissinger Summer 2010 music festival , he played with Wladimir Spiwakow (violin) and the Russian National Philharmonic as a soloist under the direction of Thomas Sanderling .
