Kishangarh ( Hindi : किशानगढ़ , Kiśāngaṛh ) is a city ( Municipal Council ) in the Indian state of Rajasthan .
It is located in the Ajmer district and had about 155,000 inhabitants at the 2011 census. The city is located 100 km west of the metropolis of Jaipur and 25 km northeast of the district capital Ajmer on the national highway NH 8 (Ajmer – Jaipur). Kishangarh was the capital of the princely state of Kishangarh .
