Kissya da Costa

Kissya Cataldo da Costa (born June 25, 1982 in Uberlândia ) is a former Brazilian rower .

She started rowing in 2000. In 2007 she was fifth at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro in double fours with Renata Gorgen , Monica Anversa and Fabiana Beltrame . At the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara , she reached sixth place in the one . In 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London , where she qualified for the C final for 13th to 18th place in the competition of the One of the Women , but did not appear there at the start. During the doping control in the run-up to the games on July 12, 2012, she tested positive for Epo and was banned by the World Rowing Association in November 2012 for two years. In another doping test on May 28, 2015 in Rio de Janeiro, she tested positive for the drug furosemide and was subsequently banned for four years.
