The Kitzelsee is a natural lake with silting and moor areas in the Ebersberg district .
It is located in the very south of the municipality of Moosach, almost on the municipal border with Markt Glonn , around 800 meters south of the Steinsee .
The lake is part of the LSG-00337.01 landscape protection area, which has existed since 1982. The lake drains into a tributary to the Moosach . It is up to 3.50 meters deep.
