Kiyooka Takayuki

Kiyooka Takayuki ( Japanese 清 岡 卓 行 , born June 9, 1922 in Dalian , China , † June 3, 2006 in Tokyo , Japan ) was a Japanese writer and poet.

Life

Kiyooka studied French literature at Tokyo University . His work was shaped by the French poet Arthur Rimbaud .

In his novel Akashiya no Dairen , published in 1969, he describes a meeting with his late wife. For this work he received the 69th Akutagawa Prize .
