Kjell Tånnander

Kjell Tånnander ( Kjell Uno Jörgen Tånnander; born June 25, 1927 in Långaröd , Hörby ) is a former Swedish decathlete .

In 1948 he came in 15th place at the Olympic Games in London .

At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 he won bronze with his personal best of 7,275 points, and at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki he was seventh.

In 1949 and 1951 he was Swedish champion.

His daughters Kristine Tånnander and Annette Tånnander were also successful in athletics .
