Annette Tånnander

Annette Tånnander ( Annette Viveka Tånnander, married bank; born February 13, 1958 in Malmö ) is a former Swedish heptathlete , high jumper and long jumper .

In 1976 she was seventh in the high jump at the Montreal Olympics .

At the European Athletics Championships in Prague in 1978 , she came in 18th place in the pentathlon and was eliminated in the high jump in the qualification.

In the heptathlon she came in 15th at the European Championships in Athens in 1982 and was ninth at the 1983 World Athletics Championships in Helsinki.

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, she finished 14th in the heptathlon . In the long jump she did not get past the first lap.

She was Swedish champion in high jump three times (1976-1978), twice in pentathlon and heptathlon (1977, 1984) and once each in long jump (1978) and over 100 m hurdles (1983).

Her father Kjell Tånnander and her sister Kristine Tånnander were also successful in athletics .
