The kkStB 72 was a series of freight train - Tender locomotives of kkStB , originally by the Emperor Franz Joseph train came (KFJB).
The KFJB procured these four times coupled locomotives 1883 / 84 . The ten machines were supplied by the Floridsdorf locomotive factory . They already reveal many similarities with the 73 series, which was procured in larger numbers .
After nationalization in 1884, the kkStB classified the machines as number 72 .
After the First World War , the entire series came to ČSD as the 403.0 series .
