The kkStB 89 was a tank locomotive series of the Austrian kk state railways , whose locomotives originally came from the Kremstalbahn (KTB).

The KTB procured these four small tank locomotives for light passenger traffic and for shunting . The locomotives, apparently based on the Bavarian model, were delivered by Krauss in Linz . The machines belonged to series III at KTB  and were named "BAD HALL", "MICHELDORF", "FRAUENSTEIN" and "STEYRLING". After the nationalization in 1906, the kkStB classified it as  89.01-04 .

After 1918, all four machines came to the BBÖ , which they retired by 1929.
