The steam locomotive series kkStB 98 was a tank locomotive series of the kk state railways of Austria , whose locomotives were originally procured for the Kolomeaer local railways.
The kkStB procured these four small locomotives in 1886 for the Kolomeaer Lokalbahnen , on whose account they ran the operation. The dimensions of the machines are very small, only the high boiler pressure is striking. They were designated as 98.01-04 .
Their track is lost with the end of the First World War .
