The Klakkane ( Norwegian for lump ) are a group of islands in the William Scoresby Archipelago off the Mawson Coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . They are located 2.5 km east of Farrington Island .
Norwegian cartographers gave the group a descriptive name and mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition 1936/37 in January 1937.
