Clare of Montfort
Klara von Montfort (* before 1412; † April 1, 1449 ) was an abbess of the free worldly Buchau women's monastery in today's Bad Buchau am Federsee .
Life
Klara von Montfort was born as the daughter of Heinrich V. von Montfort and Anna von Waldburg . Your birthday is unknown. In 1419, she appears in the monastery records as a choirwoman . The election as abbess took place in 1426.
On April 1, 1449 , Clare resigned in favor of the underage Margarete von Werdenberg .
