Klaudia Schultheis (born July 11, 1960 in Marktheidenfeld ) is professor for elementary school education and elementary school didactics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt .

Career

Schultheis studied between 1979 and 1984 to become a primary school teacher at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg . She then worked from 1986 to 1988 as a primary school teacher in the Altmühlsee School Association in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district . In 1990 she did her doctorate in philosophy at the University of Bayreuth with Klaus Prange and was supported by a graduate scholarship from the Hanns Seidel Foundation . The work was entitled Pedagogy as Solution Knowledge. A biographical analysis of Paul Oestreich's educational semantics .

From 1991 to 1994 she was a research assistant at the chair for general education at the University of Bayreuth with Lutz Koch and from 1994 to 1995 as a research assistant with Werner Wiater at the chair for school education at the University of Augsburg .

After all, she was employed by Friedemann Maurer between 1995 and 1997 as a research assistant at the chair for pedagogy with a focus on elementary school didactics at the University of Augsburg . In 1997 she completed her habilitation in pedagogy at the University of Augsburg and worked as a private lecturer. In 1997 she moved to the Institute for General Educational Science at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen , where she stayed until 1998. In the summer semester of 1998 she took over the representation of the chair of elementary school education and elementary school didactics at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and became a university professor that same year.

Klaudia Schultheis is the author and editor of several specialist books on educational topics.
