Klaudius Bojunga

Klaudius Bojunga (born June 17, 1867 in Hanover ; † August 23, 1949 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German German philologist and headmaster of the Schillerschule (Frankfurt am Main) .

Klaudius Bojunga, son of the judiciary Claudius Hermann Bojunga , married Charlotte Gildemeister on July 6, 1896 , with whom he had the children Sigmund (* 1898), Sigrun (* 1900), Wolfgang (* 1902) and Rüdiger (* 1905).

Career

Bojunga graduated from the Goethe Gymnasium (Hanover) in 1886 . Graduated from Leipzig in 1890, Bojunga headed the Luisenschule Magdeburg from 1904 and the Frankfurt Schillerschule from 1908 to 1932, a girls' grammar school that also became a training school. He published didactic writings on German lessons and school books. In 1912 he was one of the main founders of the German Association of Germanists . He was a representative of German studies .
