Klaus & Ferdl
Klaus & Ferdl , also known as D ′ Kasermandln , were an Austrian folk music duo from Tyrol , consisting of Klaus Kofler (born December 1, 1937 ; † August 26, 2016 , vocals, Styrian harmonica ) and Ferdinand Gollob (born May 2 1940 - June 27, 2016, vocals, guitar).
Career
The duo was founded in 1969 and was best known in Austria in the 1970s. Her main work consists of mood songs with often suggestive texts. With the album Heidi, wart, wir yodeln zerscht they reached number 1 in the Austrian charts in 1977. The duo earned a total of 25 gold records. In 1979 the group separated. Klaus Kofler continued to play with Sepp Sponring as Die Kasermandln in the 80s. Ferdl Gollob founded the duo Franz and Ferdl with Franz Fraiss . From 1990 to 1992 there was a short-term reunification of Klaus Kofler and Ferdl Gollob.
