Klaus Armbrüster (born March 25, 1945 in Bad Warmbrunn ) is a German lawyer and former judge at the Federal Labor Court . In 2008 he was President of the German Executive Association .

Life

Armbrüster studied law at the University of Erlangen . In 1976 he finished his legal education with the Second State Examination. In the same year he entered the higher judicial service of the Free State of Bavaria . In 1979 he was awarded a doctorate by the University of Erlangen with the study “The development of defense in criminal matters”. iur. PhD.

Armbrüster initially worked as a judge at the Nuremberg Labor Court . In 1988 he was transferred to the Bavarian State Ministry for Labor, Family and Social Affairs . Armbrüster then worked for the Bavarian State Minister for Federal and European Affairs in Brussels . In 1991 the crossbow , who had meanwhile risen to the ministerial council , was appointed judge at the Federal Labor Court. Here he belonged to the 6th Senate, of which he became deputy chairman in 1998. On March 31, 2008, Armbrüster retired as a judge.

Armbrüster was a co-founder of the yellow trade union AUB in 1986 and was a member of its board for several years. He resigned in 1995, according to his own statements because he had doubts about the chairman's business conduct.

In May 2008 he was elected President of the German Management Association, but resigned from office in December 2008.
