Klaus Bochow

Klaus Bochow (born February 26, 1950 in Rangsdorf ; † January 7, 2010 ibid) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1999 until his death he was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament .

Life

After attending the polytechnic high school, Bochow completed an apprenticeship as a chemical skilled worker from 1966 to 1968 and did his basic military service from 1968 to 1970 . He then worked in his profession until 1973 and, at the same time, completed an evening course in chemical technology until 1974, which he completed as a chemical engineer (after 1990 recognized as a graduate engineer (FH) through postgraduate studies ). Between 1973 and 1986 he held various management positions at VEB Berlin-Chemie . From 1987 to 1995, Bochow headed departments at the Zossen agrochemical center and then at Lienig GmbH. From 1995 to 1999 he was division manager and authorized signatory at the development company Wünsdorf / Zehrensdorf mbH (EWZ).

He was of the Protestant denomination, married and had two children.

politics

Bochow had been a member of the SPD since 1990. From 1990 to 1993 he was chairman of the Zossen district council , and from 1993 chairman of the Teltow-Fläming district council . Since 1990 he has been a member of the board and since 1994 deputy chairman of the Brandenburg district assembly.

Bochow had been a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament since September 1999. He won the direct mandate in his respective constituency (1999: constituency Teltow-Fläming II , 2004 and 2009: constituency Teltow-Fläming I ). In the 4th electoral term (2004-2009) he was

  • from October 2004 - Deputy Chairman of the Election Examination Committee,
  • from April 2005 - Chairman of the Parliamentary Control Commission, and
  • from November 2005 - Chairman of the Committee on European Affairs and Development Policy.

Ina Muhß moved up to the state parliament for Bochow .
