Klaus Bremm (born January 3, 1923 in Zell ; † September 27, 2008 in Alf ) was a German winemaker and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Bremm was born the son of a winemaker. He attended elementary school in Zell and from 1937 the commercial vocational school. After attending school, he completed training in administration from 1937 and then worked as an administrative clerk. Most recently he was a civil servant candidate. After being drafted into the Wehrmacht , he took part in the Second World War as a soldier from 1942 to 1945 and was most recently a non-commissioned officer.

1945 to 1947 he attended the Bullay viticulture school. Bremm had been working in his parents' winery in Zell an der Mosel since 1945 , which he took over in 1952. In 1965 he became deputy chairman of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine-growing region . In 1966 he passed the examination as a master winemaker.

In 1941 Klaus Bremm became a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 8.614.025). In 1950 he joined the CDU, in the same year joined the Junge Union (JU) and was chairman of the JU district association in Zell from 1950 to 1960. From 1951 to 1966 he was first deputy chairman and then until 1969 chairman of the CDU district association in Zell.

Bremm had been a council member of the city of Zell since 1952 and was elected to the district council of Zell in 1957. In 1964 he was elected to the district committee. 1960 to 1970 he was CDU parliamentary group chairman in the city council of Zell. From 1967 until his resignation on October 17, 1969, he was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . In the state parliament he was a member of the petitions committee. He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1969 to 1976. In parliament he represented the constituency of Cochem .

In addition, he was a founding member in 1946 and deputy chairman of the Zell district farmers and winegrowers 'association in 1948, 1960–1970 district chairman of the Zell winegrowers' association, 1961 member of the Rhineland-Nassau Chamber of Agriculture, 1965 deputy chairman of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer winegrowing association, 1968 member of the board of the Rhineland-Nassau Chamber of Agriculture , 1958 labor judge at the labor court and 1961 administrative judge in Koblenz.

In 1983 he received the Federal Cross of Merit, First Class.
