Klaus Figge (born November 6, 1934 in Hagen ; † September 5, 2006 ) was a German journalist who worked a lot for radio and television.

Figge studied Ev. Theology, history and politics. He became known in 1959 because, as the editor of a student newspaper, he had recorded an anti-Catholic article "The History of Paradise" as a literary attempt, against which the universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim and the Archbishop of Freiburg filed charges.

In 1971 he and the historian Dieter Groh conducted an interview with the controversial philosopher Carl Schmitt in Plettenberg about his life, which was only published as a book in 2010. Further work concerned the air raid on Guernica in 1937 (1977 and 1981), in which older legends of justification for the role of the German Air Force were dispelled on the basis of scientific advice from Klaus A. Maier and which triggered a public debate. In Contemporaries of the Century , Martin Niemöller spoke to Klaus Figge and Henning Röhl (SWF 1999). Figge also dealt with the history of broadcasting, especially the radio play. He lived in Baden-Baden .
