Klaus Finck

Klaus Albert Hans Finck (born December 23, 1928 in Karlsruhe ) is a German book author.

Life

Finck grew up in Karlsruhe / Durlach and then studied veterinary medicine in Munich . Today he lives in Hilsbach near Sinsheim . He was the founder of the first social station in the Sinsheim district. Among other things, he was therefore awarded the Federal Cross of Merit and the Karl Wilhelmi honorary coin. His two sons Klaus-Martin Finck and Hans-Jörg Finck now run the Sinsheim Veterinary Clinic founded by Klaus Finck in 1988.

Political commitment

Klaus Finck was for the CDU from 1965 to 1972 in the former district council of Sinsheim and after the district reform from 1973 to 1974 in the Rhine-Neckar district council . He was a local councilor in Hilsbach and a city ​​councilor in Sinsheim.
At the festivities in August 2013 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the district town of Sinsheim, he was one of the three selected contemporary witnesses of the panel discussion "40 years of the large district town - those responsible remember" at the VHS Sinsheim.

Author activity

Finck started working as an author after his retirement in 1993. Finck devoted himself to the family legacy. His work from 2004 dealt with the role of Klaus Wurth , the last church president in Baden. Finck is the grandson of Klaus Wurth, but does not mention this in this work. His work Through Light to See from 2009 deals with the religious and artistic work of his father Albert Finck from Bretten.
