Klaus Joachim Grigoleit

Klaus Joachim Grigoleit (* 1963 in Ratingen ) is a German lawyer and professor at the Technical University of Dortmund .

Life

Grigoleit studied law and modern history at the University of Freiburg from 1984 to 1990 . There he passed his first state examination in law in 1990. After his legal clerkship at the Court of Appeal , he passed his second state examination in 1993. He then worked as a research assistant for Ulrich Battis at the Humboldt University in Berlin . In 1996 he received his doctorate there. jur. In 2002 Grigoleit completed his habilitation there and received the venia legendi for the subjects of constitutional and administrative law, constitutional history and administrative sciences.

In 2004 Grigoleit was visiting professor at Tongji University in Shanghai. He has been working as a lawyer in Berlin since 2005, now as of counsel . Since 2010 he has held the Chair of Spatial Planning and Environmental Law at the Faculty of Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund University , which he had been deputy head of since 2007. From the 2015/16 winter semester he will also be the dean of this faculty. Since 2011, Grigoleit has also been a co-opted member of the law faculty of the University of Bochum .
