Klaus Krumfuß (born March 12, 1950 in Coppengrave ) is a German local politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament until November 2017 .

Life

After training in the automotive trade, he was a temporary soldier in the German armed forces . He then completed a commercial apprenticeship and worked as a police officer for the Lower Saxony police in Alfeld until 1998 .

Since 1977 he has been a member of the CDU and since 1984 chairman of the CDU community association in Duingen . He has also been the deputy chairman of the CDU district association in Hildesheim since 1996 . He was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from 1998 to November 2017. He was chairman of the Committee on Petitions, member of the Committee on Constitutional Protection Affairs and deputy member of the Committee on Home Affairs and Sport. Krumfuß is married and has one child.

Federal Assembly 2012

On February 24, 2012, the state parliament elected the delegates for the 2012 Federal Assembly . Since the 17-year-old Denise Deters would be of legal age at the time of the Federal Assembly, but not yet at the time of her own election acceptance, her list was invalid. On February 28, the state parliament declared that Krumfuß would be the first to take up her mandate.
