Klaus Müller (born January 24, 1944 in Münster ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ). From 1999 to 2009 he was mayor of the Sauerland city ​​of Iserlohn .

Mueller graduated in law from. In 1973 he came from Dortmund to Iserlohn and was head of the legal office of the city of Iserlohn for 19 years. On July 1, 1992, he was appointed city director.

In 1999, Klaus Müller was elected the first full-time mayor of the city of Iserlohn. On October 1, 1999, he took office. Peter Paul Ahrens ( SPD) emerged victorious from the mayoral elections in 2009 . Müller retired on October 20, 2009.
