Klaus Müller (badminton)
Klaus Müller (born August 29, 1941 in Greifswald ) is a former German badminton player .
In 1963 he won his first title in the GDR in men's doubles with Volker Herbst at the junior championships. It was not until six years later that his first adult medal was won with bronze in the men's singles. In 1969, his team Einheit Greifswald also received medals for the first time at the GDR team championships. In 1972, with the strong help of Müller, Greifswald brought the title to the Bodden for the first time, so as not to give it up until the end of the GDR. Until 1977, Klaus Müller was also in the regular formation without interruption. Three more titles followed in 1980, 1983 and 1984. His greatest success in the individual disciplines was the championship title in men's doubles with Edgar Michalowski in 1973.
